November 2022 - Present

• Founder of tech startup focused on experimenting with, assessing, and training new technologies in four emerging domains: software-defined networks, robotics and autonomous systems, cyber effects, and 3D + Circuit Board manufacturing
• Lead 6 direct reports, including 4 product managers maintaining 15-19 products focused on 4 technical domains
• Built training programs for new network and unmanned aircraft equipment; resulted in over 460 students trained and saved more than $1.1M in program development and instruction cost; training programs were acquired by Army Program Offices in May 2024 for service-wide training of more than 25,000 robotics and network operators
• Designed, manufactured, and marketed a prototype drone at 16% of market cost; drone was briefed to C-Suite Army executives including the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Chief and Vice Chief of Staff of the Army resulting in the re-allocation of $22M in funding to Army internally designed and built drones
• Manage a budget of over $11M, including congressional, operational, and research and development funding
• Collaborate with 20+ industry, not-for-profit, and government partners on research efforts

June 2017 - November 2022

• Managed HR departments with 5-15 HR specialists, conducting payroll and benefits management for US Army organizations with 400-800 employees
• Selected to serve as unit Chief Logistics Officer during three tactical sprints; resulted in more than 5,630 tons of cargo and 6,600 passengers moved across four ports and seven training areas in the western hemisphere, with a 98.5% on time delivery rate and a loss rate of less than 3%
• Selected to serve as Chief of Operations during deployment to Afghanistan; resulted in successful exfiltration of 560 Soldiers and evacuation of more than 55,000 refugees from the Hamid Karzai International Airport
• Built a single-pane-of-glass SQL-driven data system which combined 13 distinct Army systems, and more than 55 individual data points to provide business leaders timely and accurate training, readiness, and personnel info; decreased action processing time across business unit functional areas by 40-65%, leading to approximately 144 man-hours saved per month
• Advised business units on HR best practices and effective policies at the National, DoD, Army, and local levels
• Led multiple cross-functional teams to implement data best practices, improve organizational data literacy, and employ new data management systems
• Onboarded new Army HR system, including training more than 60 business leaders, verifying data accuracy on more than 5,000 profiles with 80+ distinct data elements, adaptation of best practices, and change management
